Account Executive / Business Development Specialist Lone Star Media - Arlington, Texas Position Overview Lone Star Media is seeking a high-performing Account Executive / Business Development Specialist to drive new business across commercial and government sectors for media services, and aerial imaging. This role is designed for a disciplined, process-driven sales professional who thrives in a structured environment and is motivated by measurable performance. The ideal candidate will not only generate revenue but also execute a repeatable, system-based sales process to build long-term, high-value client relationships. This is not a transactional sales role. This is an opportunity to build a book of business within a scalable system . Key Responsibilities Business Development & Revenue Growth Identify and pursue new B2B opportunities across target industries (construction, engineering and real estate). Conduct outbound prospecting through calls, email, and in-person meetings. Convert inbound and outbound leads into long-term client relationships. Pipeline & CRM Management Build and maintain a structured pipeline within CRM. Manage deal progression from initial contact through close. Maintain disciplined activity tracking and follow-up cadence. Sales Process Execution Lead discovery conversations using structured questioning. Present media/video solutions clearly and confidently to decision-makers. Client Engagement Conduct on-site visits, demos, and presentations as needed. Build trust with stakeholders across operations, project management, and executive leadership. Position video and arial footage as a strategic solution—not a commodity. Qualifications Experience 1-3 years of B2B sales experience (preferred industries: construction tech, engineering services, telecom, security, or commercial services). Proven track record of prospecting and closing new business. Experience managing a pipeline and forecasting revenue. Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred. FAA Part 107 knowledge or interest is a plus (not required). Mileage reimbursement + tools/technology support Performance Expectations (KPIs) 6 qualified appointments per week 10 new opportunities added to CRM per week $250K+ active pipeline (monthly target) ≥ 25% close rate $12K+ average deal size < 2-hour response time on inbound leads Training & Onboarding This role includes a structured 30-day onboarding program : Week 1: Product and market training (drone services, use cases, competitors) Week 2: Sales process training (The Citadel Method, CRM workflow, scripts) Week 3: Shadowing, role-play, and live demonstrations Week 4: Active prospecting with coaching support Ongoing support includes: Weekly 1-on-1 coaching Monthly performance and pipeline reviews Continuous refinement of messaging and strategy Why This Role is Different Most sales roles focus on activity.
