Contract Role Overview:
Krate Tactical is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented B2B Business Development Rep to join our growing team. In this role, you will focus on generating new business opportunities through high-volume outbound cold calling to tactical, firearms, and hardware retailers. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy hunting for new deals, and excel in converting prospects into clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Cold Calling:
Make a high volume of outbound cold calls weekly to identify, qualify, and close potential clients. 90+% of time should be spent making cold calls to new prospects. Target call volumes would exceed 40 dials per day, supported by our VOIP and CRM softwares, as well as our lead qualification process.
Pitching Products:
Clearly communicate the value of Krate Tactical's products-with specific emphasis on OTF Knives-to prospects.
Value Propositions:
Industry-Leading Lifetime Warranty High Margin, Competitive Cost Products Fast Fulfillment (3-5 days to receive product) Free Sample OTF available to prospective customers
Pipeline Management:
Maintain a robust sales pipeline and track all activities and calls using Odoo CRM software.
Data Entry:
Track activities in Odoo CRM, updating contact information as necessary to process orders.
Closing Deals:
Work an opportunity until it closes as a new account and then move on to the next opportunity.
Goal Achievement:
Consistently meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales targets. Performance reviews will be monthly for the first 90 days of contract, and no-less-than-quarterly in perpetuity.
Qualifications:
Core Values:
Humble, Hungry, & Smart. Proven ability to excel in commission-only sales roles. High comfort level with making a large volume of outbound cold calls daily. Strong verbal communication and persuasion skills. Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a hunter mentality. Experience in B2B sales or related industries (tactical gear experience is a plus). Basic proficiency with CRM software for tracking and reporting sales activities. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
