We specialize in access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, fiber optic cabling, structured cabling, door hardware, and electronic security solutions for commercial, industrial, government, and enterprise customers. Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and organized Business Development Coordinator to support our continued growth throughout Virginia and beyond. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in business development, operations, project coordination, customer relations, and recruiting. No security industry experience is required. We are willing to train the right person. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys working with people, and wants to grow alongside a company that is actively expanding. This is a hybrid position. Most work is performed remotely, with occasional attendance at meetings, networking events, training sessions, customer visits, and company functions as needed. Responsibilities Follow up with prospective and existing customers Track proposals, opportunities, and customer communications Schedule meetings, site visits, training events, and networking opportunities Assist with proposal preparation and customer correspondence Maintain customer and prospect databases Coordinate vendor onboarding and customer documentation Track outstanding invoices and assist with collections follow-up Support social media and marketing initiatives Attend customer meetings, networking events, trade shows, and industry functions as needed Represent Versa Link Solutions professionally at business and community events Assist with recruiting efforts, including applicant review, interview coordination, and onboarding support Help organize project documentation and administrative processes Support leadership with business development and growth initiatives Qualifications Positive attitude and strong work ethic Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and time management abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Professional appearance and demeanor Self-motivated and dependable Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Technical Skills Required Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams Ability to create, update, and maintain spreadsheets, reports, and business documents Strong computer and data entry skills Comfortable learning new software platforms and business systems Preferred but Not Required Customer service experience Sales support experience Administrative or office coordination experience Recruiting or human resources experience Construction, security, technology, or service industry experience Experience with CRM or project management software What We Offer Training provided Flexible work environment Direct mentorship from company leadership Opportunity to help build a growing company from the ground up Exposure to business development, operations, recruiting, project coordination, and leadership activities Career advancement opportunities as the company grows Potential advancement into Business Development Manager, Operations Manager, Project Coordinator, or other leadership roles Why Join Versa Link Solutions?
