About Strativera Strativera is a growth consulting and digital marketing firm that helps businesses accelerate revenue through strategic marketing, website design, SEO, paid media, RevOps consulting, business development strategy, and performance optimization. Our work spans growth strategy, branding, conversion-focused digital execution, CRM and revenue operations, and multi-channel demand generation for companies ranging from growth-stage businesses to large enterprises.
We are looking for a highly motivated, local Business Development Representative to help generate net-new pipeline by building relationships in the New Jersey business community and opening doors with qualified companies that fit Strativera's service offering. About the role This is a field-based, relationship-driven business development role. You will represent Strativera in person at chambers of commerce, business networking groups, BNI-style chapters, community events, referral meetings, and other local business environments.
Your job is to create qualified opportunities for Strativera by building trust with business owners and decision-makers, identifying growth challenges, and connecting them to the right Strativera solutions.
This is not a generic cold-calling BDR role. This is an outside-sales and networking role for someone who is confident in face-to-face business development and motivated by performance-based compensation. What you'll do Represent Strativera at local business networking events, chamber functions, referral groups, and community business gatherings Build relationships with business owners, operators, professional service firms, and referral partners throughout New Jersey Identify companies that are strong fits for Strativera's core service offerings, including: ◦ marketing strategy and growth consulting ◦ SEO and local SEO ◦ paid search and digital advertising ◦ website design and conversion optimization ◦ branding and messaging strategy ◦ RevOps, CRM, and revenue performance consulting ◦ lead generation and pipeline optimization Generate qualified discovery meetings for Strativera leadership Communicate Strativera's value clearly based on prospect needs and business goals Follow up with prospects via email, phone, LinkedIn, and in-person touchpoints Maintain accurate CRM records, source tracking, and meeting notes Provide weekly visibility into networking activity, meetings booked, opportunities created, and pipeline generated Help identify the highest-performing networking groups, associations, and referral channels for continued investmentWho we're looking forYou are likely a strong fit if you: Are based in New Jersey and able to attend in-person events regularly Are confident meeting new people and building business relationships quickly Can speak credibly with founders, business owners, operators, and decision-makers Are organized, self-directed, and strong at follow-up Understand how to move conversations from networking to real opportunity Are motivated by uncapped earnings tied directly to business generated Want a role where performance and initiative directly impact your incomePreferred experience We are especially interested in candidates with experience in: outside sales field sales business development chamber or association sales staffing or recruiting payroll / PEO commercial insurance merchant services local media or advertising sales B2B services sales partnerships or referral-based sellingExperience in networking-heavy environments and community-based business development is strongly preferred.
