An excellent position for a motivated sales professional looking to build a book of business, earn uncapped commissions, and advance their career with a company that has over four decades of success in the Chicago market This is a full-time position with a growing, stable company 40+ years in the field Base salary $60,000-$80,000 PLUS uncapped commission Career growth opportunities within an expanding sales organization About the Territory You'll own a high-opportunity territory covering the western suburbs of Chicago and downtown Chicago proper — a dense mix of commercial office buildings, industrial facilities, and institutional accounts with real, recurring service needs. This is an established market with name-brand clients and plenty of room to grow. Responsibilities Develop new customer accounts across the western suburbs and downtown Chicago while maintaining and growing relationships with existing clients Survey commercial and industrial facilities to identify HVAC/R and mechanical service needs Propose and sell service agreements tailored to each customer's facility requirements Partner with the in-house sales and marketing coordinator to maximize qualified leads and pipeline activity Generate your own sales opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and referrals Conduct site visits, facility surveys, and customer meetings throughout your territory Contribute ideas and strategies to support company-wide growth initiatives Communicate client needs and field insights back to internal operations and service teams Requirements Proven success in sales, preferably in HVAC, mechanical services, or commercial/industrial markets Familiarity with the Chicago metro market — existing relationships in the western suburbs or downtown a strong plus Strong relationship-building and communication skills — comfortable in a boardroom or a boiler room Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and confident generating new business independently Ability to conduct regular site visits and customer meetings throughout your territory Organized, dependable, and professional with a long-term growth mindset Must be currently located within commuting distance of Elk Grove Village, IL — relocation assistance is not available
