Job Description
Hammond & Hammond, Inc. is a growing residential property management company serving Simi Valley, the San Fernando Valley, Ventura County, and surrounding areas. We are seeking a motivated and relationship driven Business Development Manager to help grow our portfolio of managed residential properties. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys networking, sales, relationship building, and identifying new business opportunities within the real estate and property management industry. Compensation structure is base + commission with an expected first year income of 70k-110k, though more is possible.
Responsibilities:
Outbound Business Development Generate new business through outbound efforts Prospect high-value property owners, investors, and apartment building owners Build and maintain relationships with real estate brokers and agents Develop long-term referral pipelines with local real estate agents and industry professionals Attend networking events and identify new partnership opportunities Inbound Lead Conversion Handle incoming owner leads generated through referrals, marketing, and office inquiries Respond promptly to prospective client inquiries Work closely with internal team throughout the onboarding process Run rental market comparisons and provide information to prospective clients Prepare and send management agreements and related documents Guide prospects from initial inquiry through signed property management agreement Marketing & Growth Initiatives Utilize lead generating tools to identify and develop new customer leads Collaborate with company leadership on new marketing campaigns and growth strategies Qualifications CA Real Estate License preferred (strong candidates that are unlicensed will be considered) Previous sales, business development, real estate, or property management experience preferred Strong communication and relationship-building skills Self-motivated and goal-oriented Comfortable networking and generating new business opportunities Organized and responsive with strong follow-up skills Why Join Hammond & Hammond?
