Job Description
ISTT is looking for an energetic and experienced Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our company. This is a ground floor sales position, meaning there is tremendous growth opportunity moving forward with immediate income opportunity. The Company ISTT, Inc. began with a mission to help small and medium-sized businesses get real results from their technology investment. We are committed to providing state-of-the-art IT support, IT services and products that allow our clients to get ahead of the competition and achieve greater success. Our goal is to work directly with the principals of a small business and serve as their system/network administrator or computer consultant. Job Summary The right candidate is responsible for prospecting potential new clients for IT services contracts. This includes actively calling prospects over the phone, networking, creating centers of influence, light door to door, and supporting the company with your sales efforts. You can develop your own book of business through our proven outreach methods for this industry. In the beginning, there will be a lot of time spent training and shadowing, with the expectation that you will grow into a full outside sales position with the ability to be in the field and meet with prospects.
Compensation:
Base salary of $55K base salary - up to $70K to $75K with commissions
Responsibilities:
Plan and organize their day to be able to create as many first-time appointments as possible on a weekly basis to move them through a sales pipeline Relationship building with prospects through different prospecting methods/lead generation Aggressively identify qualified opportunities Nurture early phase opportunities for future pipeline potential Generate business and meet quota with prospecting activity and sales goals Maintain records of key business intelligence with key influencers and decision makers.
Requirements:
Must have ability to cold call, prospect and convert calls to actual sales activities with a proven record in consultative, longer sales cycle industries Must be driven to build a book of business and leverage all methods of generating leads Adept in developing and maintaining business relationships with all leadership positions Computer literacy, proficient in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Internet required Familiar with IT services/Professional Services a plus
Qualifications:
Education:
Minimum associate or bachelor's degree (or equivalent job experience) 3-5 years of successful business to business sales experience/lead generation/inside sales Proven ability to reach, access and secure meetings with appropriate decision makers

Are you willing to report to our Kentucky office for the first 1-2 weeks of training and onboarding, and to the Winchester office on an as-needed basis thereafter?
