Our mission is to provide compassionate and clinically excellent care to individuals struggling with substance use disorders while building strong community partnerships throughout the region. We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Business Development Representative to help grow our referral network and establish our presence within the Pennsylvania behavioral health market. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate who wants to grow with a company and play a major role in building a future business development team. Position Overview The Business Development Representative will be responsible for developing and maintaining referral relationships throughout Pennsylvania with healthcare providers, hospitals, therapists, treatment centers, community organizations, EAPs, and other referral sources. The ideal candidate already has an established network within the behavioral health and substance abuse treatment space and understands how to drive admissions growth ethically and professionally. This role offers strong upward mobility for the right candidate, including future opportunities to assist with building and leading a business development team as the company continues to expand. Responsibilities Develop and maintain referral relationships throughout the Pennsylvania behavioral health market Generate qualified patient referrals for PHP and IOP substance abuse treatment services Conduct outreach to therapists, hospitals, detox/residential programs, physicians, community organizations, and additional referral sources Represent the organization at networking events, conferences, and community outreach initiatives Maintain consistent communication with referral partners to strengthen long-term relationships Educate referral sources about program offerings, admissions criteria, and levels of care Collaborate closely with admissions and clinical teams to ensure smooth referral coordination Track outreach efforts, referral activity, and pipeline growth within CRM systems Assist leadership with strategic market growth initiatives and expansion planning Help identify opportunities for future business development team growth and infrastructure Maintain ethical marketing practices and compliance with all applicable regulations Qualifications Minimum of 2+ years of business development experience within the behavioral health or substance abuse treatment industry Existing referral relationships within the Pennsylvania market strongly preferred Strong knowledge of substance abuse treatment services and levels of care, including PHP and IOP Proven ability to develop and maintain professional referral partnerships Excellent communication, relationship-building, and networking skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and drive results Experience working with admissions and clinical teams preferred Professional, ethical, and patient-centered approach to business development Experience with CRM systems and outreach tracking tools preferred Willingness to travel locally within the Pennsylvania market as needed Why Join Us?
