We work with companies across industries including construction, real estate, commercial services, hospitality, and professional services to create compelling media that drives visibility and growth. We are looking for a motivated, relationship-driven Business Development Specialist to help expand our client base, open doors to new opportunities, and strengthen strategic partnerships throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth market. Position Overview This role is ideal for someone who enjoys networking, building relationships, prospecting, and helping businesses identify creative ways to market themselves through professional media content. The Business Development Specialist will focus on generating meetings, developing referral relationships, identifying target accounts, and helping move opportunities through the sales process. This is a highly relationship-oriented role with significant growth opportunity. Responsibilities Identify and pursue new business opportunities throughout DFW Conduct outreach through phone calls, email campaigns, networking, and in-person visits Build relationships with business owners, marketing directors, property managers, contractors, real estate professionals, and strategic partners Generate qualified meetings for the leadership team Help develop referral and affiliate partnerships Maintain and update CRM activity and pipeline tracking Assist with proposal follow-up and opportunity management Attend networking events, trade shows, and community business functions Collaborate with internal media and production teams to align client needs with service offerings Support ongoing marketing campaigns and strategic outreach initiatives Ideal Candidate Strong communication and relationship-building skills Comfortable with networking and initiating conversations with business owners and decision-makers Self-motivated with strong organizational skills Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to work independently while managing multiple opportunities Comfortable with CRM systems and basic sales reporting Positive attitude with a strong work ethic Interest in media, marketing, branding, videography, photography, or drone services is a plus Preferred Qualifications 1-3 years of business development, sales, marketing, or account management experience Experience with B2B sales or relationship management preferred Existing DFW business network is a plus Experience with LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, or CRM platforms preferred Compensation Base Salary + Commission Flexible work environment Opportunity for career growth Exposure to multiple industries and high-profile projects Collaborative and entrepreneurial culture Mileage/networking reimbursement opportunities Performance-based advancement opportunities Why Join Lone Star Media?
