The Role:
We're looking for a Business Development Specialist who will serve as the welcoming first point of contact for potential clients, while also helping nurture the relationships and referral networks that keep our firm connected to the community. This opportunity is about listening, guiding, and ensuring every person feels heard and supported. You'll manage incoming inquiries, schedule consultations, and also manage warm contacts and referrals. Client Intake & Onboarding Respond promptly and compassionately to incoming inquiries (phone, email, website, referrals). Conduct interviews with potential clients to gather essential case details. Determine if the matter is a fit for our firm and facilitate next steps. Schedule consultations with attorneys and ensure a smooth handoff. Keep client records accurate and organized in our case management system. Help build out consistent process for the intake process.
Relationship Building & Development:
Maintain and strengthen relationships with referral partners, medical providers, and community organizations. Follow up with warm leads and ensure they receive timely, supportive communication. Work with the team to track referral sources and measure the effectiveness of relationship-building efforts. Collaborate with attorneys and marketing to keep messaging consistent and effective.
What Will Make You Successful:
You're able to listen with empathy and clearly explain next steps. You enjoy connecting with people and building trust over time. You keep information accurate and processes running smoothly. Comfortable juggling intake calls, scheduling, and community follow-up. You understand the sensitive nature of personal injury cases. Experience in intake, customer service, or business development is helpful. You are comfortable being on the phone a lot of the day as well as working in a CRM. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
