THE ROLE
This is a senior-level, quota-carrying role responsible for generating new business across our target markets: multi-location dental group practices, oral surgery centers, and DSOs (Dental Service Organizations). You will own the full sales cycle from initial outreach through contract close, and will work closely with our operations, marketing, and leadership teams to position Xceltek as the partner of choice. We are not looking for someone to follow a script. We want someone who understands the dental industry, can build real relationships with practice owners and administrators, and can clearly articulate the value of specialized managed IT and cybersecurity services in a clinical setting.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities with dental and oral surgery practices, group practices, and DSOs Build and manage a healthy pipeline using CRM tools, outbound outreach, referral networks, and industry events Conduct discovery calls, in-person meetings, and presentations with practice owners, office managers, and C-level contacts Develop and deliver tailored proposals and pricing in coordination with the operations and technical teams Own the full sales cycle from first contact through signed agreement and successful handoff to onboarding Maintain accurate pipeline and activity records in the CRM and report weekly to leadership Represent Xceltek at dental industry conferences, trade shows, and association events (including SOMSA and similar) Collaborate with marketing on outreach campaigns, case studies, and referral program initiatives Identify strategic partnership opportunities with dental supply companies, software vendors, and practice consultants Provide market feedback to help shape service offerings, pricing, and positioning
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Required:
5+ years of B2B sales experience, with at least 2 years selling to dental, medical, or healthcare markets Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets Strong understanding of the dental practice environment including DSOs, group practices, and independent offices Comfortable selling technology or services to non-technical buyers Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and consultative sales approach Self-directed and able to manage your own schedule and pipeline without close supervision Experience with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) Willingness to travel regionally and attend industry events as needed
Preferred:
Prior experience selling managed IT, cybersecurity, or technology services Familiarity with HIPAA compliance requirements and how they apply to dental practices Existing relationships within the dental industry, DSO space, or dental supply channel Experience selling into multi-location or enterprise dental groups Knowledge of practice management software ecosystems (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Curve, etc.)
