This role is designed for an experienced industry professional who can generate leads, build relationships with prospective clients, and create growth opportunities. The position is remote and best suited for a self-starter who works independently, manages time effectively, and is comfortable representing the company in meetings, networking events, and other business development activities. Key Responsibilities Generate and qualify new business leads within target markets Meet with prospective clients to identify needs and present commercial landscaping services Attend industry events, trade associations, and networking functions to build relationships and increase brand visibility Expand opportunities within current service areas, including HOAs, retail centers, business parks, municipalities, city facilities, and parks Support company growth into additional service lines and markets, including landscape installation work for new developments Develop proposals, bid packages, and submittals for new and existing opportunities Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients where needed Track sales activity, pipeline progress, and business development efforts May evolve into broader responsibilities based on key business needs of the company Qualifications Experience in business development, sales, account management, or client development within the commercial landscaping industry Strong understanding of commercial landscaping services and the needs of property managers, developers, HOAs, and municipal clients Demonstrated ability to generate leads and convert opportunities into new business Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills Ability to work remotely and independently with minimal supervision Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-oriented Experience assisting with bids, proposals, or submittal packages is preferred Compensation and Growth Opportunity This role offers hourly compensation along with potential commission on new work secured. Over time, responsibilities may expand to include existing client communication, account management support, and other key needs of the business. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is an experienced business development professional (5+ years) - preferably within commercial landscaping -- who is proactive, polished, and comfortable building business in a remote role. Success in this position requires initiative, follow-through, and the ability to identify growth opportunities across both established and emerging markets.
Pay:
$15.00 - $25.00 per hour
