The Opportunity
Our client is a Michigan-based freight brokerage that has been growing steadily since its founding in 2020, doubling load counts annually and building a portfolio serving customers across retail, manufacturing, and e-commerce.
The company handles everything from FTL and LTL to intermodal, expedited, specialized, and oversized freight, and is now in an active hiring phase to support continued growth.
This is not a role for someone looking to punch a clock. Our client is building something, and they want carrier sales reps who want to be part of that build. The culture is team-oriented and performance-driven, and the team is small enough that every person's contribution is visible and valued.
What You'll Do
Build and manage carrier relationships to ensure consistent capacity across a range of freight types and geographies
Negotiate rates with carriers to ensure competitive pricing while maintaining strong service levels for customers
Cover loads efficiently and proactively, with a focus on on-time delivery and clear communication throughout the process
Collaborate closely with the customer sales and operations teams to align carrier capacity with customer needs
Contribute to the growth of our client's carrier network, which is expanding nationally
Track your own performance and be accountable to results
this is a commission-driven role with no ceiling
Why This Role Is Different
Our client's culture is built on trust, transparency, and genuine relationship-building. There is no script, no pressure tactics, and no quota-chasing atmosphere. The leadership team
including a founder who spent years in carrier sales himself
knows what good looks like and will empower you to do your job without micromanaging how you do it.
Commission is uncapped, growth opportunities are real, and the company's trajectory is pointed in one direction.
If you are a carrier sales professional who is tired of the noise at a large brokerage and wants to do meaningful work at a company that will recognize your contributions, our client is worth a conversation.
