This position helps drive sales effectiveness by managing orders, maintaining accurate account information, providing support and serving as a key point of contact between sales, customers, and internal departments. This role ensures a high level of service, timely execution, and strong ongoing relationships with independent accounts and Roland sales staff. Responsibilities Support sales representatives with order entry, pricing, promotions, and account settings Serve as a primary sales support contact for independent accounts regarding orders, product availability, and inquiries Maintain accurate customer records, contracts, and sales data in CRM and order systems Coordinate with logistics, finance, and operations to resolve order or delivery issues Assist with sales reporting, forecasting, and tracking account performance Help prepare sales materials, presentations, and account reviews Maintains electronic and hard copy documents, forms, and related paperwork as required for interdepartmental purposes. Perform other duties or special projects as requested by supervisor or VP. Requirements Education/Experience :
High School diploma and some college courses with 3-5 years of related sales support, MI industry or B2B experience preferred. Skills:
Ability to accurately enter data at 40-50 words per minute. Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills. Customer-focused mindset with attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in CRM systems, ERP systems, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), B2B platforms, order processing or sales support experience is a plus. Knowledge :
Employee must be highly customer oriented with a helpful, friendly telephone and email and other electronic communication methods that enable them to work with dealer accounts personnel, field sales reps, and all internal RUS customer/partners. Business acumen and willingness to learn. Experience with on-line remote computer work and ability to maneuver around/inside websites, ERP systems, inventory and sales reporting platforms. This role is essential to supporting revenue growth and dealer service level within the independent account segment. Position will be based in Los Angeles County and requires the employee to work onsite one or more days per week as part of a hybrid schedule.
