The team is buzzing at Bumble Bee Blinds of Fairfield County — come join the hive! We're a locally owned, fast-growing window covering company serving Fairfield County, Connecticut, specializing in custom blinds, shutters, indoor and outdoor shades, and drapery. As demand continues to grow, we're looking for a motivated Sales & Design Consultant to help homeowners and businesses transform their spaces with beautiful, functional window coverings. What You'll Do Conduct in-home and on-site design consultations to recommend window covering solutions tailored to each client's needs. Measure windows accurately, present product options, create estimates, and close sales in-home or through client follow-up. Manage and follow up with company-provided leads through our CRM system. Participate in local marketing and business development efforts, including networking events, outreach to partner businesses, and administrative support. Coordinate with installers and support clients throughout the installation process to ensure an exceptional customer experience from consultation through project completion. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotes, and orders. Request client reviews and referrals to help grow our presence throughout Fairfield County. What We're Looking For Sales, design, or customer-facing experience preferred (window coverings, home improvement, or interior design experience is a plus). Confident communicator who enjoys meeting new people, building relationships, and providing exceptional customer service. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and follow-through skills. Comfortable learning and using technology on a daily basis, including iPads, mobile apps, CRM systems, digital measuring tools, and sales software. Able to quickly adapt to new software and technology platforms with minimal supervision. Self-motivated and capable of managing appointments, customer information, and project details accurately in a digital environment. Valid driver's license and proof of insurance. Flexible schedule with availability for occasional evenings or weekends. Entrepreneurial mindset with the initiative to follow up on opportunities and proactively build relationships that lead to sales. Professional appearance and ability to represent the Bumble Bee Blinds brand in clients' homes and businesses.
Compensation & Schedule Competitive Compensation Structure:
Combination of base pay and performance-based commissions.
Uncapped Earning Potential:

Flexible Part-Time Schedule:
Approximately 15-20 hours per week, including a mix of client consultations, networking, marketing, and administrative responsibilities.
