Job Overview We are expanding our footprint in the Frederick Market! Multiple positions available. Remote work option with experience with Caterease or other Catering Software. We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Catering Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing catering clients from inception to execution, ensuring that all client needs are met with precision and excellence. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to analyze customer preferences to create tailored catering solutions. Key Responsibilities Proactively prospect and secure new clients through cold calls, networking, referrals and in person meetings. Engage in upselling opportunities to enhance client experiences and increase revenue. Analyze client feedback and preferences to improve service offerings and event execution. Build strong relationships with corporate clients, wedding planners, and other referral partners. Meet and exceed sales targets by securing repeat and new business. Work closely with clients from inquiry to event execution, ensuring all details are confirmed and communicated. Collaborate with the operations team, vendors, and service providers to fulfill event contracts seamlessly. Ensure all event logistics align with client expectations and company standards. Exhibit enthusiasm and professionalism when working with clients ensuring their needs are met. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues to guarantee smooth event execution and client satisfaction. Maintain and update client information in the company database. Regularly review and update pricing sheets to reflect market costs and profit goals. Stay informed on industry trends to identify new opportunities for business growth. Work closely with internal teams to ensure flawless execution of events. Participate in company projects and committees to enhance overall event production. Venue relationship outreach/management. Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Minimum 3 years of experience in catering, event sales, and management. Experience in hotel catering, corporate events, event sales, or large-scale event production is a plus. Proven track record in outside sales, prospecting, and client relationship management. Strong presentation and communication skills. Customer focused with negotiation and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously with strong organizational skills. Experience with Caterease or similar software program is highly preferred. Valid driver's license (Required). Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed. Flexibility for day, evening, and weekend events. Some on-call availability may be required.
