Job Description

Overview We are seeking a motivated and results-driven, experienced Construction Sales/ Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. Please DO NOT apply if you don't have notable experience in construction sales . In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of our largely residential construction projects through effective methods and relationship building with clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in outside sales, lead generation, effective marketing concepts, networking, bidding and creating estimates, particularly in the general contracting industry. We are seeking a skilled salesman who can accurately estimate and sell custom home projects and renovations, in particular. This position requires significant knowledge of the construction industry, home building and experience in estimating these types of projects. We also need someone with a passion for providing exceptional customer service while meeting sales targets. Pay is most commission based, in addition to the minimal base salary. We are looking to incentivize the highest quality candidates, motivated to work with enthusiasm while being a part of a growing company. Responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients through effective account management and lead generation strategies. Pursue leads and sell projects through methods already in place. Conduct cold calling and direct sales efforts to expand the customer base within your designated territory. Utilize CRM software, such as BuilderTrend, to track sales activities, manage customer interactions, and analyze performance metrics. Project estimation and sales processing. Deliver product demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of renting our construction equipment Collaborate with marketing team to create promotional materials that effectively communicate product offerings. Engage in negotiations with clients to close sales deals while ensuring customer satisfaction. Collaborate with our Project Managers and Field Crew to ensure accuracy in estimations, that promises made are promises kept, and sustainable customer relations throughout until the end of the project (required in order to receive latter half of commission). Provide excellent customer service throughout the project to ensure quality delivery and customer satisfaction. Provide insights on market trends and competitor activities to inform business development strategies. Participate in trade shows and industry events to promote products and network with potential clients. Attend local networking meetings with team members. Upsell additional products or services based on customer needs and preferences. Oversight of all sales team members. Coordination with Sales Assistant for estimate follow-up. Implementation of "best practices" for entire Sales Team. Working with Superintendent, CEO and Office Staff throughout entire project to ensure quality follow-through. Estimation of change-orders and execution of necessary protocol. Attend Sales training and leadership meetings. Requirements Proven experience in outside sales within the residential construction industry. Strong skills in business development and account management. Familiarity with technical sales concepts and the ability to understand complex product specifications. Experience using CRM software for managing leads and tracking sales performance. Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on achieving win-win outcomes for both the company and clients. Strong analytical skills to assess market conditions and identify opportunities for growth. Ability to provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor and necessary sensitivity to potential problems. Previous experience in the construction industry, carpentry or trades is mandstory. A proactive attitude towards lead generation and all applicable sales efforts.
