Experienced Outside Sales Representative - Roofing/Building Products IndustryJob Overview Lifetime Tool is seeking a full-time Experienced Outside Sales Representative - Roofing/Building Products Industry to grow sales and manage customer relationships across an assigned territory covering South Carolina and parts of Georgia. This field-based sales role is a strong fit for someone with experience in outside sales, territory sales, account management, roofing products, building materials, contractor sales, and business development. The person in this role will work closely with distributors, contractors, roofers, architects, specifiers, HOA groups, and manufacturer representatives to increase product awareness, strengthen customer relationships, and drive territory growth. You will receive support from the home office and inside sales team and will report directly to the Director of Sales. What You'll Do Manage and grow sales within an assigned territory in South Carolina and parts of Georgia Develop and maintain relationships with distributors, contractors, roofers, architects, specifiers, HOA groups, and other industry partners Travel daily within the territory to meet with customers and prospects Conduct product demonstrations and customer presentations Train customer teams on product use, features, pricing, and shipping information Distribute approved sales and marketing materials, including literature, samples, counter mats, and wall displays Use CRM software to record all customer activity, including in-person meetings, calls, and emails Participate in scheduled status calls and provide updates on recent activity and upcoming plans Represent Lifetime Tool at trade shows, CAI events, AIA events, HOA meetings, CPI meetings, and other important industry events Partner with inside sales and internal support teams to follow up on leads and grow regional sales Required Qualifications At least 2 years of outside sales experience At least 2 years of sales experience in the roofing industry or higher-end allied building products Proven ability to meet sales goals and grow business within a territory Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and stay organized in a field sales environment Experience using CRM software and sales reporting tools Solid and consistent work history with clear sales responsibilities and results Reliable transportation for daily business travel Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Roofing products Building materials Construction products Architectural products Territory sales Account management Contractor sales Distributor relationship management If you are an Experienced Outside Sales Representative - Roofing/Building Products Industry who enjoys building relationships, managing a territory, and growing sales in the field, we'd like to hear from you.
