$36,000 base + uncapped commission Year 1 OTE $85,000-$130,000 Year 2 OTE $130,000-$200,000+

Daily within ABQ metro; periodic overnight travel to Santa Fe, Las Cruces, and Southern Colorado About CalLord CalLord Unified Technologies is a New Mexico commercial security and AV integrator. We design, install, and maintain enterprise-grade surveillance, access control, and intrusion systems for businesses across the state. We're partnered with Brivo and Eagle Eye Networks on the platform side, and we've spent the past year building proprietary, patent-pending technology that puts our reps a generation ahead of every other integrator in this territory. We're now expanding into regulated commercial verticals and hiring our first dedicated outside sales representative to lead it. The Opportunity This is a builder's seat. You'll own a defined territory across New Mexico and Southern Colorado, focused initially on the licensed cannabis industry and expanding into adjacent regulated verticals — self-storage, multi-tenant commercial property, auto dealerships, healthcare, and other industries where compliance documentation and audit-readiness drive purchasing decisions. The product is differentiated; the territory is yours; the compensation rewards outcomes. The Tools You'll Carry The technology stack you'll be issued has no equivalent at any competing integrator in this state. Hyperion Our proprietary, patent-pending site capture engine. You walk a customer's facility with an iPad Pro and Hyperion produces a 3D-accurate interior scan, identifies camera coverage gaps, and generates a compliance map against state regulations in minutes. What used to take a senior estimator three days of measure-ups, takeoffs, and CAD work happens in real time, in front of the customer. Forge Our internal sales and operations platform, also patent-pending. From the same iPad, on the same site visit, you generate a fully scoped proposal with line-item pricing, send it for e-signature, and close the deal before you leave the parking lot. One-call close is the design intent. Compliance Subscription Tooling Gives every customer an audit-ready evidence package on demand and ongoing regulatory change monitoring. You're not selling cameras and access control. You're selling outcome-anchored compliance. You will be the only sales representative in New Mexico carrying these tools. What You'll Do Generate your own pipeline through outbound prospecting against a curated, enriched target list we provide. Conduct on-site security and compliance assessments using Hyperion. Build proposals and close deals on the same visit using Forge. Partner with our operations team for install handoff and stay engaged with customers as they grow. Keep your CRM clean, your forecast honest, and your pipeline full. Compensation Detail $3,000/month base, paid bi-weekly 15-22% commission on installation gross profit, with monthly volume accelerators 2 months of recurring revenue paid as upfront bonus per closed account, 30 days after activation 10% trailing residual on customer-billed recurring revenue for 24 months per account 40% revenue share on paid compliance assessments — your ramp income from your first week Annual bonus pool tied to portfolio quality and retention Health benefits stipend available at 90-day mark upon W-2 conversion Mileage reimbursement (IRS standard rate) for out-of-metro travel Company-issued iPad Pro, iPhone, full sales technology stack What We're Looking For We care more about pattern of performance than industry tenure. Strong candidates have come from commercial security, low-voltage integration, B2B SaaS, commercial real estate services, IT managed services, cannabis industry sales, fire & life safety, commercial roofing or HVAC, or commercial-focused insurance and financial services.
What you bring:
a track record of closing your number, evidenced by W-2s, commission statements, or verifiable references. Self-discipline to manage a remote pipeline without daily oversight. Comfort in the field.
Tech-fluency:
not afraid of a CRM, an iPad workflow, or learning new software — and ideally excited by it. Honesty about what you don't know. Required 21 years of age or older Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, clean motor vehicle record Authorized to work in the United States Able to pass federal background check (required for cannabis facility access) New Mexico resident or willing to relocate prior to start date Preferred but Not Required 2+ years B2B field sales with verifiable quota attainment Existing relationships in NM or CO cannabis industry Familiarity with state cannabis regulations Prior experience with Brivo, Eagle Eye Networks, Verkada, Genetec, or similar platforms Bilingual (English/Spanish) Who This Job Is Not For This role rewards closes and portfolio quality.
