As a local, family-owned, and veteran-operated company based in Lakewood, we are looking for a Home Performance Sales Advisor who can blend technical home assessment with consultative, high-level sales. Unlike traditional energy auditor roles that bury you in data entry and complex modeling, this position is designed for a closer. You gather the facts in the field, our engineering team handles the heavy lifting of building the formal audit report, and you focus on what you do best: educating the homeowner, providing solutions, and winning the job.

Uncapped Earning & Massive Rebate Leverage:
We value your time. You will earn the greater of a $25/hour fallback base rate OR your earned commissions ( 3-5% on total revenue and 2% on leads passed to our plumbing/electrical teams ). Your secret weapon in the field is that we heavily leverage Xcel rebates, which reduce the customer's out-of-pocket cost by 50-75%. This allows you to build larger, more comprehensive tickets while making it a no-brainer for the homeowner. Because you earn 3-5% on the total ticket revenue (not just the customer's portion), and our average close rates sit at an incredible 60-70%, you are easily on track to clear $100k
  • 130k+, with top performers earning significantly more.
Expert Training:
You don't need to be a BPI-certified auditor on day one. We provide formal energy auditor training and certification pathways so you have the deep knowledge needed to be a deadly, effective salesperson.
Your Mission:
A Day in the Life This role is based heavily in the field, running primarily throughout the Denver Metro area. Run the

You will typically run three scheduled appointments per day, lasting about 2 to 2.5 hours each. Gather the

Spend roughly the first hour of the visit conducting the physical assessment. This means taking photos, filling out standardized checklists, navigating attics, entering crawlspaces, and occasionally getting on roofs to measure.
Consult & Quote:
Transition from assessor to advisor. Sit down with the homeowner, walk them through their home's efficiency gaps, build the estimate, and confidently sell the value of our insulation and efficiency upgrades by showing them how much Xcel will pay for. Tee Up the
Team:
Spot a home that needs an electrical panel upgrade or a new water heater? Pass those high-quality leads to our licensed electricians and plumbers to earn your 2% cross-sell commission. Manage the

The Essentials:
The Consultative Closer:
You are a true sales professional. You have the social and influencing skills to guide a homeowner through a major home upgrade without being pushy, easily overcoming the typical "reluctance to sell" seen in standard technical auditors.
Home Construction Knowledge:
You have a solid background in residential homes, retrofits, construction, or home inspection. You know how a house breathes and functions.
Physically Capable:
You are completely comfortable climbing ladders, navigating tight crawlspaces, moving through attics, and safely getting on residential roofs.
Tech Savvy:
You will be using ServiceTitan for CRM tasks, estimating, and follow-ups. Advanced tech adeptness is crucial to keeping your workflow smooth.
Standard Schedule:
You are available Monday through Friday during normal business hours. No required weekends!
Mobile:
You have a clean driving record. A company vehicle will be provided, or mileage will be reimbursed for use of a personal vehicle.
Pay:
$95,000.00
