Job Description
Hybrid Sales & Service Representative Polymer Industries , a leading national manufacturer of polyolefin and high-performance plastic sheet and rod, is seeking a dynamic and focused individual for a Hybrid Sales & Service role. This unique position bridges the gap between our internal customer service excellence and our regional market expansion, offering a mix of office-based coordination and on-the-road relationship building.

Full-time Job Summary The Hybrid Sales & Service Representative is responsible for maintaining the heartbeat of our customer relationships. You will serve as the primary internal point of contact for account management while also traveling to engage with customers face-to-face across our South Territory. This role is designed for an upbeat professional who thrives in a team environment but possesses the independence to manage a regional travel schedule.Primary Responsibilities Internal Support:
Provide product and service information, resolve customer complaints, and maintain accurate account records within our CRM.Account Growth:
Identify potential customers through market analysis and follow up on inquiries to suggest tailored product solutions.Regional Travel:
Set up and attend meetings with existing and potential customers to demonstrate product offerings. Travel is estimated at up to 50-75% depending on territory needs.Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong business relationships through a "pleasant phone voice" and professional in-person presence.Market Intelligence:
Attend trade shows and collect customer feedback to recommend new products or services to management.Reporting:
Prepare detailed product and service reports by analyzing customer data and travel outcomes.Skills & Qualifications Location:
Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Henagar, AL, or be willing to relocate to the area.Experience:
3+ years in sales or customer service; experience in outside sales or the plastics industry is a significant plus.Technical Skills:
EXCELLENT
computer skills required, including proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.Communication:
Strong relationship-building skills, conflict resolution abilities, and a professional phone manner.Logistics:
Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean DMV record.Aptitude:
