  • Part-time, Full-time About Us We are a fast‑growing distributor of industrial absorbents and spill‑control products serving manufacturing plants, warehouses, transportation companies, and small distributors.
Our mission is to help customers reduce spill risk, stay OSHA‑compliant, and keep their operations running clean, safe, and efficient. We're expanding our footprint and looking for a driven, hands‑on inside salesperson who thrives in industrial environments and loves building long‑term customer relationships. Position Overview The Inside Industrial Sales Representative is responsible for developing new business and growing existing accounts. This role combines daily prospecting , distributor end end user engagement . You'll become the go‑to expert for absorbents, spill kits, and usage optimization for your customers. This is a role for someone who loves, talking to maintenance teams, safety managers, and purchasing, and helping them solve real operational problems. Key Responsibilities New Business Development Make outbound calls to distributors and end‑users Follow up on quotes and convert them into orders Reactivate dormant accounts Find new prospects and engage them Send samples, product info, and pricing Maintain CRM notes and manage your pipeline Provide fast, reliable customer service Support and grow small distributor partners Strengthen loyalty through service, responsiveness, and value—not discounting Track activities, opportunities, and follow‑ups in CRM (HubSpot) QualificationsRequired 2+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in industrial supply, safety, jan/san, MRO, or related fields Proven ability to prospect, open new accounts, and manage them Strong communication and relationship‑building skills Organized, self‑motivated, and process‑driven nside sales or customer service experience Strong phone and email communication skills Organized, reliable, and great at follow‑up Self‑motivated with a hunter mindset Industrial or distribution experience is a plus Preferred Experience selling absorbents, spill control, PPE, or safety products Experience working with distributors or dealer networks Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) What Success Looks Like You consistently open new industrial accounts You build strong relationships with safety, maintenance, and purchasing teams You follow a daily process and maintain a healthy pipeline You become the "absorbents expert" in your territory Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary Commission based on gross profit with accelerators for new business Training, tools, and ongoing support Opportunities for advancement as the company grows
