This role combines sales, customer service, and project coordination, working closely with builders, remodelers, and homeowners. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain customer relationships to drive sales growth Assist customers in selecting building materials and related products Prepare accurate quotes for lumber, decking, windows, doors, and more Coordinate job site visits, showroom appointments, and installations Place and track special orders Troubleshoot customer issues and provide effective solutions Maintain showroom organization and product displays Pull and prepare materials for delivery Process payments, manage deposits, and provide delivery instructions Schedule Full-time position Saturdays as needed Closed on Sundays Qualifications Minimum 3 years of inside sales or customer service experience (required) Strong knowledge of lumber and building materials, including: Trim moulding Interior/exterior millwork Doors and windows Ability to read blueprints (preferred) Experience with POS/computer systems Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent phone etiquette Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively Comfortable handling cash and credit transactions Ability to lift and move up to 70 lbs as needed Ability to sit or stand for extended periods Team-oriented with a long-term, growth-focused mindset Compensation & Benefits Competitive wages 401(k) retirement plan Health insurance Paid vacation Employee discounts Work Location In-person (one location) Remote work not available
