Job Description

POSITION TITLE
: Inside Sales Representative
DEPARTMENT
: Sales
BASIC FUNCTION
: Under the direction of the General Manager, the Inside Sales Representative is responsible for increasing sales to existing customers and providing the best possible customer satisfaction to Meyer Aluminium Blanks' customers.
WORK PERFORMED
: Sales Duties 1. Identify opportunities for increased sales to existing customers. 2. Maintain a positive working relationship with assigned customers through regular phone and email contact. Respond to incoming customer telephone calls and emails. 3. Prepare quotations and sales confirmations for stock, mill direct, special mill direct and quarterly contract customers based on existing item numbers. Remind customers to place quarterly contracts for non-stocked items. 4. Prepare quotations and production job tickets for processing quotes using inventoried stock. 5. Provide accurate and timely information regarding the status of open orders to customers. Arrange customer returns, prepare return goods authorization and submit customer complaint. Address and resolve customer inquiries, problems and complaints regarding material, services, mill certs, billing, applications, etc. 6. Enter customer information into the CRM software. 7. Provide inside support to the outside sales representatives as needed. 8. Work with Administration/Human Resources to obtain required credit information and sales tax exemption forms. 9. Review customer credit limits and follow up with the customers for payment when necessary. 10. Contact inactive customers regularly and proactively. 11. Create new product items which meet the customer's specific requirements at the lowest possible cost. This includes both purchased items and those processed in house. 12. Maintain the Production Schedule, adding new travelers and making adjustments as needed, both proactively and reactively. 13. Perform related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Education generally equivalent to a bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university with courses in Business preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as open orders and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and other employees of the organization. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as the fundamentals of geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions of customer requirements. Computer Skills Basic computer skills are required, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
