Lauderdale, FL) Reports to: VP - Sales, Channel, & Strategic Partnerships Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Inside Sales Representative to sell and service our solutions and services tothe clients of insurers (agencies/brokers/MGA, carriers, etc.) - trucking companies, owner-operators, and commercial fleets of all DOT classes. This role focuses on providing , vehicle, and fleet safety solutions and building long-term client relationships within the insurance and transportation industries. TInside Sales Representativewill develop customer and partner relationships, identify new business opportunities, support the sales process from lead generation through onboarding and account support, and help drive long-term customer success within the insurance and transportation industries. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain positive relationships with prospective and existing partners and customers. Prospect new clients (owner-operators, small fleets, logistics companies) through networking, referrals, and outbound sales. Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing trucking clients. Educate clients on risk management strategies. Assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and customer communications. Conduct product and service demonstrations for prospects and clients. Support senior sales team members in achieving revenue and growth objectives. Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity within CRM systems. Track sales activities, pipeline progress, and performance metrics. Collaborate with marketing, operations, and customer service teams to ensure a positive customer experience. Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and company offerings. Meet or exceed sales and revenue goals set by the agency company. Provide ongoing service including renewals, endorsements, and account updates.
Pipeline development:
20% Partner management: 10% Closing inbound leads: 70% Qualifications Must be located in Ft Lauderdale/Miami area. Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred. 2 to 3+ years of sales, SaaS, or business development experience. 1-3+ years of experience in freight brokerage or commercial auto or transportation insurance is a must. Excellent communication, sales, and negotiation skills Ability to build relationships and manage multiple accounts Strong organization and time management skills Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow in a sales environment. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with
FMCSA/DOT
regulations. Understanding of commercial auto underwriting. Experience with telematics, ELD, dashcam, or fleet safety solutions. Experience selling through channel partners or referral partners is preferred. Success Metrics Meeting and exceeding assigned revenue and booking targets Number of qualified leads generated. New customer acquisition. Customer satisfaction and retention. Accuracy and timeliness of CRM updates and reporting.
