We supply distributors, retailers, and fleet operators across the region. We're hiring an Inside Sales Representative to grow that business two ways — handle the inbound demand that comes to us, and proactively develop new accounts of our own. We are looking for an team member that wants to continuously learn and help grow a successful business. What you'll do
Grow and retain a book of assigned wholesale, retail, and fleet accounts: drive reorders, expand the products each account buys, and lift volume.
Proactively prospect and open new accounts through outbound calls, follow-up, and relationship-building.
Respond quickly to inbound inquiries (many customers find us through search), qualify, quote, and convert them into ongoing accounts.
Build quotes and manage orders in our inventory system, following each order through fulfillment and delivery.
Advise customers on the right battery for their application and stay current on the product line.
Keep account notes, pipeline, and activity current, and report on volume and gross profit. What you bring
2+ years in inside sales, account management, or wholesale/counter sales, ideally in automotive parts, batteries, industrial supply, or a related distribution business.
A track record of growing accounts and hitting sales or gross-profit goals.
Comfort initiating outbound contact to open and develop new accounts, not just handling inbound.
Strong phone and written communication; organized and self-directed.
Valid California Class C driver license and a clean driving record (occasional local customer visits).
High school diploma or equivalent. Nice to have
Experience selling batteries, automotive electrical, or power products.
Familiarity with Fishbowl Inventory, Shopify, or QuickBooks.
Existing relationships with retailers or fleet operators in the Inland Empire / Greater Los Angeles market.
Bilingual (English/Spanish). Compensation
Base pay of $24.00
27.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Uncapped quarterly performance bonus tied to gross-profit goal attainment; strong performers earn well beyond target.
Annual gross-profit growth bonus.
Estimated on-target earnings (base plus quarterly bonus): $60,000
68,000, with uncapped upside. Benefits
