In this role, you will sell high end decking products and accessories to contractors and customers and strategically build new relationships with prospective customers in the industry. You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and maintaining relationships with existing clients. Responsibilities Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling and networking. Manage accounts effectively, ensuring all customer/contractor needs are met in a timely manner. Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales strategies with promotional campaigns. Cultivate and manage customer relationships to drive sales growth and loyalty. Analyze sales reports and customer data to identify sales opportunities and improve customer engagement. Make cold calls to prospective customers to expand our network and increase revenue. Follow up with customers to resolve any service concerns and provide solutions. Train customers on various product lines and services to enhance their knowledge and satisfaction. Assist customers with credit applications and ensure timely payments. Experience Must have knowledge in decking and building Business, Sales, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Familiarity with product lines and the building contractor process is preferred but not required. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to pass MVR check. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and time management skills. Professional appearance and demeanor. Proven experience in sales, preferably in an outside sales role. Strong skills in selling and account management. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. A proactive approach to cold calling and generating leads. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
