As a Commercial Lines Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of branch and team leadership to gain hands-on experience in the insurance industry. This internship is designed to provide exposure to sales operations, client service, and marketing strategies. You will assist with project-based work, participate in training sessions, and collaborate with team members to support business development efforts. This is a valuable opportunity to learn industry fundamentals, develop professional skills, and explore a potential career path in insurance.Key Responsibilities:
Training Participation:
Participate in Insurance & Sales 101 training sessions to build foundational knowledge.Campaign Support:
Assist with the development and execution of marketing campaigns using Salesforce.Social Media Engagement:
Monitor and contribute to social media platforms to promote company messaging.Industry Research:
Support research and presentation of industry-specific insurance topics.Sales Shadowing:
Shadow Producers to observe sales techniques and client engagement strategies.Project Collaboration:
Collaborate with team members on assigned projects and initiatives.Performance Tracking:
Assist in organizing and tracking campaign performance metrics.Data Accuracy:
Help maintain accurate records and documentation in agency systems.Creative Contribution:
Contribute to brainstorming sessions and creative planning for outreach efforts.Team Involvement:
Attend team meetings and contribute to discussions and planning.Client Materials Preparation:
Support the preparation of client-facing materials and presentations.Professional Development:

Demonstrate professionalism and a willingness to learn.Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
Current college student pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field Strong organizational, multitasking, and administrative skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Basic problem-solving and analytical thinking skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Interest in the insurance industry and a desire to grow professionally Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and team-oriented mindset High School Diploma (or equivalent) What to Expect (Application Process): 30-Minute Phone Screen, Online Assessments, and Interview(s) Salary Range The expected pay for this position is $14.00 and hour, depending on experience, relevant skills, and geographic location.
