  • Full-time A food manufacturing company is seeking a Junior Sales Representative to join their team in Somerset, New Jersey .
This position is responsible for overseeing the Midwest/East Coast divisions and expanding the market share by increasing placements with new and existing customers. A bachelor's degree, a valid driver's license, the ability to travel, and proficiency in MS Office is required. This is a full-time, hybrid, exempt, position with basic bonus, excellent benefits and 401k.
Junior Sales Representative Duties:
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers
  • Manage brokers
  • Plan promotional activities
  • Present new items to existing/potential customers.
  • Maintain accounts receivable (process tasks, monitor payments, file claims)
  • Manage expense budget for accounts
  • Market Research
  • Analyze market data and develop sales strategies
  • Utilize ERP/CRM to manage tasks
  • Work with other departments on shared projects (Logistics, Production)
  • Promote products at food shows to develop customers and increase brand awareness
  • Implement price increase
Junior Sales Representative Skills:
  • Must have a bachelor's degree
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be able to travel
  • Proficiency in MS Office is required
  • Excellent communication skills
