Capital Property Management is looking to expand our Leasing team by adding new Coordinator to our leasing staff! Join this tight knit company and kick-start your career in Property Management. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
Answers phones and provides information to prospective tenants regarding rental units, schedules showing times, and returns voicemails. Answers questions from prospects in regards to our screening criteria, with strict adherence to the company's established Fair Housing Policy. Manages and reviews rental applications for assigned portfolio, ensures accuracy and consistency is maintained in relation to move-in costs and/or deposit amounts. Applicant Screening, including: receives incoming applications and retrieves any missing information/documentation to complete applications. Forwards applications to screening company, and Keeps applicants up to date with pending application status as needed. Accepts Execution Deposits, and ensures submission of all required paperwork to the Accounting Department. Calls to cancel applications of Execution Deposits are not received within 24 hours of approval. Schedule move-in appointments in accordance with ETA schedules as communicated by Maintenance. Informs Maintenance of any pre-rented apartments. Checks on status of all open applications and ensure the screening process for each file is completed in less than 3 business days. Keeps applicants up to date with pending application status as needed. Communicates approvals/denials with applicants, send subsequent email correspondence, including preparation of Execution Agreements for approved applicants. Participates actively in department meetings, contribute to marketing plans, and brainstorm solutions for leasing long term vacancies. Maintains good public relations and interact with clients, customers, and co-workers in a respectful and professional manner. Onboarding will take place in our office in NW Portland. After training, local remote work is permissible.

EXPERIENCE
Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent; or twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Applicants with related experience and/or training are preferred. Applicants must be proficient in the use of MS Office, email, and internet. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Must be able to pass a criminal background investigation after conditional job offer. Must live locally in the Portland Metro area in Oregon. Work Remotely Yes (once training is complete from our NW office) Hybrid Role- Work from home 4-5 days with 1-2 in office days per week. •subject to change based on needs of the department Must be located in our near Portland Metro area
