We are seeking an energetic, outgoing, and results-driven Business Development & Marketing Specialist to help expand our brand presence, accelerate our growth, develop referral partnerships, coordinate community engagement efforts, and drive lead generation throughout East Texas Position Summary The Business Development & Marketing Specialist will lead the full scope of our marketing efforts and brand strategy - including the development of strategic referral partnerships, overseeing marketing initiatives, managing community engagement efforts, coordinating events, posting social media content, creating advertising campaigns and enhancing the overall customer experience. This is a strategic and hand-on roll with significant influence on our next phase of growth. Key Responsibilities Marketing & Brand Management Develop and execute marketing strategies that increase brand awareness. Manage and maintain BXC Roofing's social media platforms. Create engaging content including photos, videos, customer testimonials, and educational posts. Coordinate digital advertising campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, Google, and other platforms. Manage, organize and budget all marketing expenses. Track and report marketing performance metrics. Event Coordination Plan and coordinate community events, charity events, sponsorships, trade shows, and customer appreciation events. Manage event logistics, vendor relationships, and promotional materials. Represent the company at local events and community outreach opportunities. Community Engagement & Business Development Build relationships with local businesses, organizations, schools, sports teams, and nonprofits. Identify sponsorship opportunities that align with company goals. Promote BXC Roofing's involvement in community initiatives. Develop and maintain relationships with insurance adjusters, insurance agents, realtors, contractors, property managers, and community leaders. Identify and cultivate new referral opportunities. Attend networking events, chamber meetings, trade shows, and industry functions. Coordinate presentation, booth setup and branded materials for all events. Create strategic partnerships that generate qualified leads. Represent BXC Roofing professionally within the community. Assist with recruiting visibility and strategies Social Media Management Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with BXC Roofing's brand and business objectives. Manage company websites, social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube. Create, schedule, and publish engaging content with high frequency, including project highlights, customer testimonials, educational roofing content, community involvement, and company culture. Capture photos and videos at job sites, community events, and company activities for marketing purposes. Monitor social media engagement and respond to comments, messages, and customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Collaborate with sales and production teams to showcase completed projects and customer success stories. Develop campaigns that increase brand awareness, lead generation, customer engagement, and referral opportunities. Track and analyze social media performance metrics and provide monthly reports on growth, engagement, and campaign effectiveness. Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices to maximize reach and effectiveness. Coordinate paid social media advertising campaigns and promotional initiatives. Customer Experience Strategy Develop and implement customer experience initiatives that strengthen BXC Roofing's reputation and customer satisfaction. Monitor customer feedback, reviews, and survey results to identify opportunities for improvement. Coordinate with sales, project teams, and leadership to ensure a seamless customer journey from initial contact through project completion. Create processes that improve communication, customer education, and overall client satisfaction. Manage customer appreciation programs, referral initiatives, and post-project follow-up campaigns. Help maintain and improve online reputation through review generation and customer engagement strategies. Identify customer pain points and recommend solutions to improve service delivery and operational efficiency. Track customer satisfaction metrics and provide recommendations to leadership for continuous improvement. Administrative Responsibilities Maintain CRM records and referral partner database. Keep office branding/materials, apparel and promotional items organized Maintain marketing inventory Track leads generated through networking and marketing activities. Prepare monthly reports on business development and marketing performance. Assist leadership with growth initiatives and strategic planning. Qualifications Required 2+ years of experience in marketing, business development, networking, public relations, or related fields. Excellent verbal and written communication and relationship-building skills. Strong organizational and event-planning abilities. Proficiency with social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Flexibility with the ability to attend occasional evening and weekend events. Experience managing digital advertising campaigns and SEO. Knowledge of CRM systems and marketing software. Graphic design or content creation experience. Professional networking organization involvement. Experience managing budgets and prioritizing spend across multiple initiatives.
