This role focuses on engaging with web enquiries and existing database leads through outbound calling, nurturing prospects and handing overqualified opportunities to specialist consultants to convert into bookings. You will be responsible for assessing customer needs, building rapport, recommending suitable products, and setting the scene to then pass a qualified lead to a consultant. This is a fast-paced, commission driven role suited to someone, target-focused, commission-driven and highly confident on the phone. Full systems and product training will be provided along with ongoing coaching and development support. Responsibilities and Accountabilities Conduct outbound calls to web enquiries and existing database leads Qualify customer needs and assess suitability for A&K products and services Warm up leads and build strong initial rapport with prospective clients Recommend appropriate products and transfer qualified leads to expert consultants Set appointments for sales consultants and support the sales pipeline Participate in outbound calling campaigns to generate new opportunities Carry out customer retention activity, including welcome home and bon voyage calls This role will support all products lines Accurately update systems with booking and journey notes Commission earning role with incentives linked to converting leads Performance measured on lead nurturing, conversion outcomes and productivity Skills and Abilities Prior experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, or other client-facing roles preferred Must be an engaging and confident communicator Thrives in a fast paced, target driven environment Sales focused and motivated by earning potential Must be persuasive and confident in presenting products or services Should be comfortable handling objections and providing solutions Interest in developing professionally into Travel Consultant or sales role Previous experience with CRM systems or sales software is a plus but not required Special requirements Position may be fully remote within the Chicagoland Area or follow a hybrid schedule of 3 days in office and 2 days remote.
Targeted Start Date :
6/15/26 or 6/29/26 Salary 35k; with additional earning potential through sales incentives. Benefits A&K offers a large portfolio of competitive benefits to all eligible, full-time employees.
