Job Description

LaTech Security & Surveillance is seeking motivated Outside Sales Representatives to grow our customer base across commercial and public sector markets. This is a true outside sales role . You will be expected to actively prospect, make calls, and develop new business—not just respond to inbound opportunities. We are looking for someone who is driven, self-motivated, and comfortable getting out into the field to build relationships and close deals.
Job Requirements:
Daily outbound calls and prospecting In-person visits to potential customers Developing new accounts (commercial + state agencies) Actively generating your own opportunities This is not a passive sales position. Success in this role depends on consistent activity and follow-up.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development Prospect and generate new business through: Cold calls (phone + in-person) Networking and referrals Territory development Target both: Commercial and public sector clients Sales Process Management Identify customer needs and propose appropriate solutions Conduct site visits and gather project requirements Prepare and present proposals Follow up consistently until the project is awarded CRM & Activity Tracking Document all calls, meetings, and opportunities Maintain an updated pipeline and forecast Track follow-ups and next steps for all prospects Internal Coordination Work with Operations team to transition awarded jobs Communicate project details clearly to ensure a smooth handoff
Required Qualifications:
Sales Experience Proven experience in outside sales or business development Comfortable with cold calling and prospecting Ability to consistently meet activity and sales goals Skills Strong communication and relationship-building skills Self-motivated and goal-driven Organized and able to manage a sales pipeline Other Requirements Valid driver's license Reliable transportation Must be able to pass a felony background check (required for licensing through the Louisiana State Fire Marshal's Office) Preferred (but not required) Experience in: Security systems (cameras, access control) Construction or low-voltage industry Experience selling to government agencies or through contracts Compensation & Benefits Base salary + commission structure + Benefits High earning potential based on performance Company support tools (CRM, estimating resources, etc.) Opportunity to grow with the company
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
