Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team, Black Creek Milling and Black Creek Quail Farm as an Outside Sales Representative specializing in Agriculture Products! This energetic role will focus on increasing sales of our patented animal transport boxes, feed mill products, deer blends, attractants, and offers the opportunity to drive business growth by connecting with agricultural professionals including stores, bird growers, pet stores, manufactures, distributors, and other potential buyers to expand our products. You will be the face of our innovative product solutions, leveraging your sales expertise to expand our presence in the agriculture sector. With a focus on territory management and relationship building, you'll play a vital role in delivering tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients. This paid position is perfect for motivated sales professionals eager to make a tangible impact in the agricultural industry. You will start out at an hourly rate and do designated job tasks provided by the supervisor. Duties Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow territory sales and meet targets within assigned regions. Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and industry events to expand the customer base. Manage existing accounts by providing exceptional customer service, upselling opportunities, and ongoing support. Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that foster long-term relationships. Collaborate with marketing team in our companies to develop territory-specific campaigns that enhance brand visibility and drive demand. Complete any other duties that are given by supervisor. Requirements Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or territory management within agriculture or related industries. Strong business development skills with a track record of generating new leads and closing deals. Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to showcase agriculture-related products and solutions. Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer service skills to build trust with clients. Familiarity with CRM software and other technology sales tools for managing accounts and tracking activities. Ability to conduct product demos, technical presentations, and analysis to educate customers about product benefits. Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a proactive approach to cold calling, lead generation, and territory expansion. A willingness to travel locally or regionally to visit customers. Providing weekly reports showing work completed, customers contacted with locations, sales progress, sales made, leads, and follow-ups. Meeting sales goals, profit goals, or activity targets set by the company. Knowledge of agricultural products, feed, poultry, pet, or retail products is preferred but not mandatory.
