Outside Sales Representative — Commercial Power Equipment Robertsdale Power Equipment | Robertsdale, AL Full-time | $45,000
  • 55,000 Base + Commission About Us Robertsdale Power Equipment is a full-service power equipment dealer serving the Gulf Coast.
We sell, service, and rent commercial-grade outdoor power equipment from top brands including SCAG, Wright, Walker, Toro, Bobcat, STIHL, Husqvarna, Echo, and Generac. Our customers count on us because we keep them working — and we're looking for a sales professional who shares that mindset. The Opportunity We're hiring an Outside Sales Representative to grow our commercial accounts across Baldwin, Mobile, and Escambia counties, with the majority of activity in Baldwin County. You'll work directly with landscape contractors, municipalities, large property managers, and agricultural operations — selling equipment, parts, consumables, and service contracts. You won't be starting from zero. You'll inherit a warm book of established accounts that gives you immediate income and customer relationships from day one. From there, your job is to take care of those existing customers and grow your territory by building new business on top of a solid base. This is a relationship-driven role for someone who likes being out in front of customers, solving real problems, and getting rewarded for the work they put in. What You'll Do Service and grow an existing book of commercial accounts Identify and pursue new commercial and fleet account opportunities Build long-term relationships with customers in your territory Set up and run onsite equipment demonstrations tailored to each customer's operation Sell equipment, replacement parts, consumables, and service contracts Track and report sales activity, customer visits, and conversion rates to management Bring back market intelligence — tell us what customers are asking for so we can keep meeting their needs Represent Robertsdale Power Equipment at trade shows, fairs, and customer events What We're Looking For A self-starter who is punctual, honest, and easy to talk to A natural communicator who can build rapport quickly and close deals Comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule Basic computer skills (you'll have a laptop and printer in the truck for quotes on the road) Valid driver's license and clean driving record Able to lift 50+ lbs and safely operate the equipment you'll demo Comfortable towing a trailer with demo equipment Sales or service experience in power equipment, ag, construction, or automotive is a plus — but not required. We can teach the products. We can't teach salesmanship. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, not required What We Offer $45,000
  • 55,000 base salary, plus commission Company truck and fuel card for work use Health insurance Paid time off and paid holidays Company phone Uniform shirts Paid manufacturer training and ongoing product education Inside support team to help with quotes, orders, and product knowledge while you focus on selling Schedule Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM
  • 5:00 PM. Every other Saturday, 8:00 AM
