Job Description
Outside Sales Representative - Premium Windows & Doors Our client is a premier distributor and retailer of high-end windows and doors for luxury residential construction throughout North Carolina, Greenville, and Charleston, SC . They are hiring Outside Sales Representatives in Asheville and Raleigh who want to build something from the ground up -a territory, a reputation, and a strong personal book of business. If you rely on inbound leads or need a desk full of warm opportunities to succeed, this role will not be a fit. If you are driven, competitive, and confident in your ability to prospect, network, and close , keep reading. The Opportunity You will start with a guaranteed salary while you learn the products, processes, and market. Once you've established traction and built a solid book of business, you will transition to a draw + commission structure with significant upside tied directly to performance. This role rewards results, persistence, and growth-not tenure . Key Responsibilities Aggressively prospect and develop new business through cold calls, jobsite visits, referrals, networking, and targeted outreach Build relationships with builders, general contractors, architects, designers, and remodelers Own the entire sales cycle from initial contact to close Create estimates and proposals tailored to customer and project needs Consistently follow up on opportunities and active accounts Negotiate pricing while protecting margins and driving profitability Build and grow a long-term book of business Track customer accounts, receivables, and billing issues Stay updated on product offerings, market trends, and competition Travel within the assigned territory, including occasional overnight travel Ideal Candidate Profile Self-starter who can generate their own leads Comfortable handling rejection and staying persistent Strong ownership mindset and accountability for results Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Confident negotiator with the ability to influence decisions Highly organized with strong follow-up discipline Required Experience Proven success in outside or B2B sales Experience in windows & doors preferred Background in building materials, construction, or architectural products is a strong plus Ability to present solutions rather than just pricing Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Reliable personal vehicle Professional appearance and demeanor Willingness to travel within the territory Compensation & Benefits Initial guaranteed salary Transition to draw + commission based on performance Car/expense allowance Full benefits package including: Medical, Dental, Vision
