JOB SUMMARY
Aloha Natural Pet Supply is a leading regional distributor of premium pet foods, treats, toys, and accessories in the Pacific Northwest. We partner with leading local and natural pet brands to deliver exceptional service, reliable logistics, meaningful support, and healthy options to our retail partners and for all pet families. We are seeking a highly motivated Outside Sales Representative for WA & ID to manage and grow our retail territory. In this role, you will hit the road to build lasting relationships with independent pet specialty stores, veterinary clinics, and farm/feed retailers. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Building and sustaining long-lasting relationships with new and existing brick-and-mortar pet retailers based within an assigned sales territory. Traveling within an assigned sales territory to conduct face-to-face meetings, reviews, and product presentations with existing and potential customers. Some evening and weekend work will be required. Weekly Call Report needs to be generated and turned into Sales Manager. Continually meeting or exceeding sales targets by selling company products to new and existing customers. Developing and implementing an effective sales strategy to drive sales. Maintaining an accurate record of all leads, customer accounts, and sales. Responsible for having current knowledge of competitors products and pricing as well as market conditions. Keeping abreast of the latest industry developments by attending meetings, training workshops, and industry events. Strategically negotiating with potential and existing customers to close sales. Other duties as assigned. Check all outgoing stocks to ensure that they are in good condition and make sure that all documents are accurately signed for proper documentation. Work with third party carrier reps to ensure pricing for shipping of orders is correct. Assist Inventory team as needed. Other duties as assigned. SKILLS Independently motivated and prioritizes goal-attainment. Highly organized with an eye for small details. Effective communication and consultative sales skills. Exceptional customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED. Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communication, or related field is preferred. Proven outside sales experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software. Valid Driver License. Clean driving record.
