About Southwark Metal Manufacturing Company Since 1946, Southwark Metal Manufacturing Company has been a family-owned manufacturer known for high-quality sheet metal pipe, duct, and fittings for residential HVAC systems. Now in its third generation of ownership, Southwark combines craftsmanship, personalized service, and long-term customer partnerships. With seven facilities strategically located across the United States, we are proud to support customers with reliable products and responsive service. What You'll Do As a Regional Salesperson , you will be responsible for driving sales growth within your assigned territory. This role is ideal for someone who can identify new business opportunities, build strong customer relationships, and expand existing accounts. You will present Southwark's value proposition with confidence, using your sales, product, technical, and industry knowledge to influence purchasing decisions and generate revenue. You will also contribute to market planning, product feedback, and ongoing sales strategy development.
Work Location:
Remote (Must live within territory)
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute short- and long-range sales and marketing plans for the territory.
  • Prospect for new business and build strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Prepare sales and marketing proposals for technical products and services.
  • Make regular sales calls, follow up on leads, and move opportunities through the sales cycle.
  • Deliver technical presentations, workshops, and product education for customers.
  • Stay informed on market activity, industry trends, competitive products, and customer needs.
  • Negotiate and close deals while supporting revenue and growth goals.
  • Prepare regular activity reports and sales plans for management review.
  • Represent Southwark at trade shows, buying group meetings, and customer events. Qualifications
  • Proven success in wholesale sales, outside sales, or a similar customer-facing sales role.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently.
  • Solid understanding of sales principles and customer service best practices.
  • Ability to negotiate, close deals, and manage a sales pipeline effectively.
  • Comfort creating and delivering presentations tailored to customer needs.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory as needed.
