Residential Fence Sales Representative Location:
Hybrid remote — Benson, NC. Field work across Wake, Johnston, Harnett & Lee counties (assigned new‑build neighborhood territories)Job Type:
Full Time — 100% commission About NEXUS Outdoor Solutions NEXUS Outdoor Solutions installs high‑quality residential fencing and outdoor solutions such as concrete services & landscape lighting. We value professionalism, reliable installations, and a clear pay‑for‑performance model. Position Summary We are seeking motivated, professional independent sales representatives to develop and close fence projects within assigned new‑build neighborhood territories. This is a true commission role — you will be primarily responsible for generating your own leads through targeted outreach, relationship building with builders/developers/homeowners, and in‑person selling. The owner will pass along any inbound leads as they come, but inbound leads are not guaranteed. Key Responsibilities- Own lead generation and pipeline development in assigned new‑build neighborhoods (outbound prospecting, cold calls, door‑to‑door outreach, builder/developer outreach, networking)
- Complete onboarding and adopt NEXUS sales process and proposal templates
- Meet prospects on site to assess needs, present solutions, and prepare professional estimates
- Negotiate and close sales; coordinate handoff to operations for scheduling and installation
- Maintain activity levels and territory coverage to meet personal sales targets
- Request referrals and build long‑term relationships to grow your book of business We Provide
- Assignment of exclusive or focused new‑build neighborhoods within service counties
- Sales training, proposal templates, and operational support for installations
- Owner will forward inbound leads when available and provide support for scheduling and project coordination Compensation Details
- 100% commission opportunity
- Commission is 35% of gross profits from sold jobs by sales individual. Paid biweekly.
- Income potential scales with activity and closed sales; top performers can earn quarterly performance based incentives
- Extensive benefits package Minimum Qualifications
- Pass a background check (no felony convictions)
- Proven sales experience preferred — experience with new‑build/residential construction or builder relationships a plus
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Comfortable with cold calling, door‑to‑door outreach, and field sales
- Professional demeanor, strong work ethic, integrity, and self‑motivation
- Basic computer/smartphone proficiency for estimates, CRM, and scheduling
- Reliable vehicle and ability to travel within assigned counties NEXUS Outdoor Solutions is an equal opportunity contractor.

$60,000.00- $120,000.
