  • Growth Mindset Job Summary The Sales Account Manager maintains and grows relationships with retail partners while achieving assigned sales and profit growth goals.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, this role is responsible for retaining existing business, pursuing new growth opportunities, and ensuring the success of assigned retail accounts. The Sale Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact for retailers, representing Bodhi Brands' full product portfolio. This position focuses on relationship-building, solution-based selling, and consistent follow-through to meet retailer needs and achieve monthly sales objectives. Key Responsibilities 5 Core Responsibilities Account Growth & Revenue Generation Relationship Management & Customer Retention Strategic Account Planning & QBR Execution Territory Execution & Field Engagement Reporting, Forecasting & Continuous Improvement Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesSales & Account Growth Manage an assigned territory and portfolio of accounts to achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals. Identify regional sales opportunities and generate leads through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship building. Develop and execute account strategies that drive long-term growth, retention, and profitability. Conduct in-person and virtual product presentations, proposals, and negotiations that align with brand and pricing strategies. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Bodhi Brands' full product lines, promotional programs, and marketing initiatives. Track and manage sales performance, orders, and follow-ups through HubSpot HubSpot . Customer Relationship Management Build and sustain trusted, consistent relationships with retail partners through excellent communication and proactive service. Plan and conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with key accounts to review performance, promotions, and upcoming opportunities. Execute Positive Touchpoints (PTPs) and routine store visits to maintain strong relationships, gather feedback, and drive sell-through. Serve as the liaison between the customer and Bodhi's internal teams (Sales Support, Marketing, and Fulfillment) to ensure timely communication and delivery. Address and resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive brand experience. Territory & Promotional Execution Support implementation of all sales programs, promotions, and merchandising standards within assigned accounts. Monitor and communicate inventory levels, product placement, and sell-through data to maintain healthy rotation and prevent stockouts. Collaborate with the Sales Manager and Marketing team to ensure alignment between field execution and promotional strategy. Identify and recommend local marketing opportunities, events, or collaborations that enhance brand visibility. Planning & Reporting Maintain accurate and organized account information, sales data, and call notes within the HubSpot. Analyze territory performance and provide regular updates and forecasts to the Sales Manager. Prepare and present periodic reports on sales activities, market trends, and customer insights. Travel Travel regionally within the assigned territory (approximately 35% of the time) for store visits, events, and account meetings. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred. Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, with 3+ years of direct field sales experience .

Established relationships with licensed cannabis retailers and key decision-makers throughout Washington State. Comfortable with HubSpot tools, spreadsheets, email, and reporting dashboards. Solid understanding of the sales process, order flow, and account retention techniques. Familiarity with B2B or retail sales models and customer lifecycle practices. Interpersonal & Soft Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client and internal collaboration. Strong relationship-building ability with a customer-first mindset. Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Positive attitude, professionalism, and a high level of emotional intelligence. Collaborative team player who contributes to group success and supports peers. Additional Requirements Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for in-person store visits (if required by territory). Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs for product samples or trade materials. Flexible schedule to accommodate customer needs, occasional travel, or store visits. Willingness to comply with all state and company cannabis sales regulations, including confidentiality and data integrity standards. Working conditions This role is a hybrid position, combining office-based work (on-site or remote, per company policy) with regular regional travel (approximately 35% of the time). Work involves extended periods of computer and phone use, including CRM (HubSpot) and Google Workspace tools. Frequent fieldwork includes in-person store visits, vendor meetings, promotional events, and account reviews. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs for transporting product samples, displays, or trade materials. Work hours follow standard business hours, with occasional flexibility needed to meet customer or operational needs. Requires reliable transportation for regional travel and store visits. Fast-paced environment with frequent communication, multiple deadlines, and shifting priorities. Must adhere to all Washington State cannabis regulations, company compliance standards, and confidentiality protocols. Requires professional communication across email, phone, video meetings, and internal messaging platforms.
