Responsibilities Lead daily store operations, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent customer service. Motivate and manage a team of sales associates through coaching, training, and performance feedback. Drive sales by implementing effective merchandising strategies, promotional activities, and upselling techniques. Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, and accurate recordkeeping to optimize product availability. Handle customer inquiries with professionalism, resolving issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. Conduct employee orientation sessions, interviews, and assist in recruiting top talent. Manage cash handling procedures, POS transactions, and store financial processes with accuracy. Support shift management duties including scheduling, payroll processing, and supervising staff attendance. Maintain store standards through merchandising, pricing accuracy, and cleanliness to enhance shopping experiences. Utilize strong negotiation skills to build relationships with vendors and suppliers for purchasing needs. Requirements Proven experience in retail sales management or assistant management roles with supervising responsibilities. Demonstrated skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, and team leadership. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively. Knowledge of retail operations including POS systems, inventory control, merchandising, and pricing strategies. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently across multiple tasks such as training & development and administrative duties. Excellent communication skills coupled with phone etiquette and customer service expertise. Experience with retail math for budgeting, sales analysis, and financial reporting is preferred. Familiarity with grocery store operations or wireless sales is a plus but not required. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining high standards of cashiering procedures.
