We are looking for a driven, relationship-focused professional to join our team as a Sales Representative. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building long-term relationships, creating new business opportunities, and helping customers grow their businesses. The right candidate is proactive, organized, customer-focused, and motivated by both sales success and exceptional service. As a key member of our sales team, you will manage customer relationships, develop new business opportunities, and serve as a trusted partner to customers in the farm market and food service industries. What You'll Bring Strong relationship-building and communication skills A customer-first mindset with a passion for helping businesses succeed Confidence identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities Self-motivation and a results-driven mentality Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced, seasonal environment Positive attitude with a proactive approach to problem solving Ownership mentality with strong follow-through Responsibilities Sales & Business Development Develop new business opportunities through outbound outreach, inbound inquiries, referrals, and lead follow-up Build and strengthen long-term customer relationships to drive retention and account growth Identify customer needs and provide solutions that add value to their business Generate quotes, recommend products, and guide customers through the sales process Support sales initiatives and help drive revenue growth across assigned accounts and territories Track opportunities, follow-ups, and customer activity within CRM systems Customer Relationship Management Serve as a primary point of contact for customer communication and support Maintain consistent communication with customers throughout the season and beyond Resolve customer concerns with urgency, professionalism, and care Provide a high level of service that strengthens trust and long-term partnerships Support customers with product recommendations, inventory planning, and seasonal needs Team Collaboration & Industry Support Partner with purchasing, operations, warehouse, and customer support teams to ensure customer expectations are exceeded Support trade shows, industry events, and customer visits including setup, lead management, and follow-up Maintain accurate customer and sales records within company systems Identify opportunities to improve sales processes and customer experience Represent company values of Serve, Integrity, Measure, Proactive, Lead, and Evolve in daily interactions Qualifications Previous experience in outside sales, account management, business development, or customer-facing roles preferred Strong communication and relationship-building skills Proven ability to identify opportunities and close business Highly organized with strong time management and follow-through Experience with CRM or ERP systems preferred (HubSpot experience is a plus) Comfortable working independently and collaboratively Willingness to travel for customer visits, farm market events, and trade shows Experience in agriculture, produce, food service, packaging, manufacturing, or distribution industries is a plus How Success Is Measured New revenue generated Growth of existing customer accounts Customer retention and satisfaction Opportunity conversion rate Quote-to-close ratio Sales pipeline activity and follow-through Trade show and event lead generation Benefits Competitive compensation 401(k) Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Paid time off Stable, family-owned company with long-term growth opportunities
