Job Description

Overview Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with grocery stores, restaurants, distributors, and other retail outlets to increase bulk sales of international food products, produce, beverages, and specialty items. This position focuses on generating new business, expanding existing customer accounts, promoting company products, and supporting revenue growth. Spanish-speaking ability is strongly preferred due to the Company's diverse customer base. Responsibilities Sales & Business Development Identify, prospect, and develop new wholesale and commercial customers. Promote bulk sales of international food products, produce, beverages, spices, meats, and specialty items to grocery stores, restaurants, food trucks, convenience stores, and distributors. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat business and account growth. Conduct customer visits, sales presentations, and product demonstrations. Generate and follow up on sales leads from referrals, marketing campaigns, and community outreach. Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers. Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets established by management. Customer Account Management Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts. Prepare customer quotations, pricing proposals, and product recommendations. Coordinate with warehouse and operations personnel to ensure accurate order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. Assist customers with product availability, special orders, delivery coordination, and account inquiries. Monitor customer purchasing trends and identify opportunities for additional sales. Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity documentation. Marketing & Product Promotion Promote new products, seasonal items, and special promotions to customers. Gather market intelligence regarding competitor pricing, product demand, and customer preferences. Represent Asafo International at community events, trade shows, vendor events, and networking opportunities as assigned. Assist with marketing initiatives designed to increase customer awareness and sales growth. Administrative Responsibilities Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and business development efforts. Prepare periodic sales reports and customer activity updates. Coordinate with accounting on customer payment issues as needed. Follow company policies regarding pricing, discounts, customer commitments, and sales approvals. Preferred Qualifications Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred. Experience in wholesale food, grocery, produce, restaurant supply, warehouse distribution, or related sales. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple customer accounts. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, and customer management systems. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) New customer accounts established. Monthly and annual sales revenue growth. Bulk sales volume.
