Job Description

PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING
This is a commission-based sales position for a professional portrait photography studio. Pay is $15.40 per hour plus 6% commission on completed portrait sales. Commission is earned on Zoom and in-person portrait ordering appointments only. There is no cap on commission. Our average client orders typically range from $100 to $5,000+, which means commission can range from smaller add-on orders to strong earning opportunities on premium portrait sales. This is a 5-6 day per week position and is a great fit for someone who is money-motivated, dependable, coachable, and excited to grow in a sales role. You'll be selling custom family portraits, pet portraits, and artwork that clients display in their homes. These are not basic photo packages — our portraits are statement pieces and custom works of art.
The best part:
there is no cold prospecting. We bring the clients to you. Your job is to guide them through their portrait viewing appointment, help them choose their favorite images, and confidently present artwork options. This position is ideal for someone who has experience in sales, luxury retail, furniture sales, jewelry sales, photography sales, car sales, or any high-ticket customer service environment. Experience is helpful but not required if you are confident, coachable, and motivated. You must be comfortable with working 5-6 days per week, presenting pricing clearly, building trust quickly with clients, handling objections professionally, following a proven sales process, and asking for the sale. We are looking for someone who is positive, money-motivated, coachable, dependable, and excited to be part of a close-knit team.
Compensation:
$15.40/hour base pay 6% commission on completed portrait sales Commission is based on Zoom and in-person portrait sales appointments No commission cap Average orders typically range from $100-$5,000+ Strong sales reps have the opportunity to earn well above base pay
