BROAD FUNCTION
Sell calibration, maintenance and repair services, and equipment to aerospace, commercial, industrial and medical markets within a specified region. Develop and maintain long-term partnerships with customers to ensure long- term growth and stability for Techmaster. Coordinate with Techmaster personnel to ensure customer support. Maintain account renewals and routine service/support requirements.
I. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES
A. Telemarketing. Make daily calls to generate new business prospects. Maintain customer contact log and file. B. Introduce new customers to Techmaster. C. Set appointments with new prospects for outside sales. Help develop customer profiles for proposal presentation and customer support. D. Process sales proposals and or renewals. Prepare customer quotations, service agreements, and priced equipment lists. Review equipment lists and proposals with technical staffs. E. Maintain/Develop strong relationships between existing customers and Techmaster. Solicit continuous customer feedback. Maintain, as a minimum, quarterly review coverage and tracking. F. Help marketing develop marketing tools and techniques. Send literature, mailers, newsletters, 'specials campaigns', etc. To customers on an ongoing basis. G. Other duties as assigned.
II. MEASUREMENT OF PERFORMANCE
Organized, accuracy, and timeliness of details as related to duties and responsibilities. Interaction with fellow employees, supervisor, department heads, and customers on a daily basis. Increase in customer base through new customer relationships and billings. Non disclosure of confidential Techmaster material. Personal appearance/attitude. Attendance.
III. QUALIFICATIONS
AA/AS degree preferred. Minimum of 2 years sales experience in related industry preferred. Show a full understanding of salesmanship and the general requirements. Must have excellent communication skills, and letter writing abilities. Able to process customer equipment lists, proposals, service agreements and pricing, while keeping customer commitments. Able to perform telemarketing. Able to carry out all necessary sales functions and/or responsibilities as designated. Computer literate and ability to work efficiently in Windows, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
