Job Description
Position Summary PRL Glass Systems is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to develop new business opportunities, maintain customer relationships, and increase sales of architectural glass, glazing products, shower doors, railings, and related products. The Sales Representative is responsible for managing customer accounts, generating new business, preparing quotes, following up on opportunities, and achieving sales goals while providing exceptional customer service. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territories and markets. Conduct outbound sales calls, emails, and customer visits. Generate and follow up on sales leads. Promote PRL Glass products and services to contractors, glaziers, architects, builders, and other industry professionals. Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals. Customer Service & Account Management Respond promptly to customer inquiries and requests. Provide product information, pricing, and technical guidance. Maintain regular communication with customers regarding project status and order updates. Resolve customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary. Build long-term customer relationships through consistent follow-up and support. Estimating & Quotations Prepare and submit accurate quotations. Review project specifications, drawings, and customer requirements. Follow up on all open quotations and sales opportunities. Coordinate with estimating, production, and customer service teams to ensure accurate project execution. Reporting & Administrative Responsibilities Maintain accurate customer records and sales activities in the company CRM system. Submit weekly sales activity reports. Track customer interactions, opportunities, and project updates. Attend sales meetings, training sessions, and company events as required. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 2 years of sales experience preferred. Experience in the glass, glazing, construction, building materials, or manufacturing industry is preferred. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to read construction drawings and specifications is a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word). Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Required Skills Strong customer service orientation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Performance Expectations Meet assigned sales quotas and revenue goals. Maintain regular customer contact and account development. Follow up on all quotes and sales opportunities in a timely manner. Accurately document sales activities and customer interactions. Demonstrate professionalism and represent PRL Glass Systems positively at all times. Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, walk, and drive for extended periods. Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Ability to travel locally for customer meetings, job site visits, and industry events. Work Schedule Full-time position. Standard business hours with flexibility as needed to meet customer and business demands. $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
