Job Description
Role Overview We are seeking a driven and strategic Sales Representative to lead both outbound and inbound retail sales efforts while managing and growing key accounts. This role is responsible for the full sales cycle , from prospecting and pitching to closing and long-term account development. You will work with a range of retail partners—from boutique stores to major national accounts (e.g., Target, Ulta)—and play a critical role in scaling Habit's retail footprint. Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development Identify, prospect, and secure new retail partnerships across small, mid-size, and large accounts Manage inbound sales inquiries and convert leads into long-term customers Own the full sales cycle: outreach, pitching, negotiation, closing, and onboarding Account Management & Growth Build strong relationships with retail buyers and key stakeholders Develop and execute strategies to grow revenue within existing accounts Monitor sell-through, recommend reorders, and introduce new product launches Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to maximize account value Retail Strategy Tailor sales strategies for different retail tiers (independent, regional, national) Collaborate on merchandising, promotions, and launch strategies Represent Habit Cosmetics as a brand ambassador in all partner interactions Performance & Reporting Track pipeline, sales performance, and account growth metrics Maintain organized CRM records and sales forecasts Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets Qualifications 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, wholesale, or retail partnerships (beauty industry preferred) Proven success managing accounts and growing revenue over time Experience working with or selling into retailers (bonus: Target, Ulta, specialty beauty) Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills Highly self-motivated with an ownership mindset Comfortable working remotely and managing your own pipeline Compensation & Benefits $3,000 a month base salary, 10% starting commission pending years of experience and track record of meeting sales goals Performance-based incentives tied to revenue growth Employee discounts on Habit products Flexible work environment What We're Looking For A proactive seller who can both hunt (new business) and farm (grow accounts) Someone who understands retail dynamics and buyer expectations A relationship-driven professional who can scale accounts over time—not just close deals Passion for beauty, sustainability, and clean products Why Join Habit?
