We are seeking a Senior Specialist, Sales & Retail Analytics to support the business through data-driven insights, retail performance analytics, and cross-functional planning support. This role sits at the intersection of Sales, Product, Field Operations, and SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning), helping drive alignment between retail trends, dealer performance, inventory visibility, and business strategy. What You'll Do Sales & Retail Analytics Develop and maintain reporting, dashboards, and KPI visibility related to retail sales performance, dealer inventory, stocking levels, and product line trends Analyze retail, wholesale, and dealer performance data to identify opportunities, risks, and actionable business insights Support forecasting and planning discussions through data analysis and retail trend visibility Partner with leadership to improve retail performance tracking and decision-making capabilities SIOP & Cross-Functional Planning Support Support broader SIOP processes through reporting, inventory analysis, retail insights, and demand visibility Assist in identifying potential inventory constraints, retail trends, and forecasting shifts that may impact business performance Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Operations teams to improve alignment and planning accuracy Business Intelligence & Reporting Build and enhance dashboards and reporting tools utilizing Power BI and related analytics platforms Work with large datasets across multiple business systems and reporting environments Support reporting automation and process improvement initiatives that reduce manual work and improve visibility Translate complex datasets into clear and digestible insights for operational and leadership teams Field Sales & Dealer Support Serve as a key analytics and operational support partner to the field sales organization Support dealer and field sales requests related to retail programs, inventory visibility, and sales performance insights Develop tools and resources that enhance field sales effectiveness and decision-making Assist with planning and preparation for sales meetings, product launches, and retail initiatives Product & Promotional Support Support product launch readiness, including retail reporting, ordering visibility, pricing support, and channel updates Contribute to retail and promotional strategy development through data analysis and performance measurement Provide field and dealer insights to support tactical marketing and product decisions What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Information Systems, or related field Approximately 3-7 years of experience in sales analytics, business intelligence, retail analytics, sales operations, or related analytical functions Advanced experience with Power BI and dashboard/report development Experience utilizing SQL, Snowflake, Alteryx, or similar querying and analytics tools Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking capabilities Ability to organize and interpret large datasets into meaningful business insights Strong communication and cross-functional partnership skills Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities and processes Preferred Experience Experience supporting SIOP, demand planning, forecasting, or inventory planning processes Experience within manufacturing, consumer products, premium retail, or dealer/distributor-based industries Exposure to ERP systems and operational reporting tools Appreciation for premium brands, customer experience, and enthusiast-driven markets preferred Additional Information Hybrid role based in Golden Valley, MN Travel approximately 10-15% Position is not eligible for sponsorship Why Indian Motorcycle This is an opportunity to contribute within a highly visible and evolving organization while supporting one of the most iconic and heritage-driven brands in American manufacturing. Compensation & Benefits:
The starting pay range for Minnesota is $85,000 to $115,000 per year. Individual salaries and positioning within the range are determined through a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. While individual pay could fall anywhere in the range based on these factors, it is not common to start at the high end or top of the range.
