Commercial HVAC & Plumbing Services BBSI is partnering with a well-established mechanical service organization in the San Jose area to hire a Service Inside Sales Representative to support commercial HVAC and mechanical service operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a high-energy, customer-focused professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. The ideal candidate will play a key role supporting service agreements, repairs, project coordination, and customer communication while working closely with operations, field teams, and account managers. If you enjoy building relationships, solving problems, and helping drive projects from kickoff through completion, this could be a strong long-term opportunity for you. Key Responsibilities
  • Support existing commercial service accounts and help ensure overall customer satisfaction and retention
  • Coordinate with Sales, Operations, and Field teams to support service agreements, repairs, and improvement projects
  • Participate in job walks, building surveys, and customer site visits
  • Assist with estimating, proposals, vendor coordination, submittals, and project documentation
  • Support onboarding, billing coordination, and invoice follow-up efforts
  • Participate in Work-In-Progress (WIP) review meetings and assist with active project tracking
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and account activity updates
  • Build strong relationships with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and code requirements Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in inside sales, project coordination, or service operations within HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, or related construction trades
  • Strong understanding of commercial HVAC, plumbing, piping, refrigeration, or building systems
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, Bluebeam, and Smartsheet preferred
  • Construction Management, Engineering, or related industry experience is a plus Benefits & Perks
