We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused Service Sales Representative to join our growing team. Position Summary The Service Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue through commercial roofing repairs, service work, and preventative maintenance programs. This role focuses on rapid response to customer needs, client retention, identifying ongoing service opportunities, and developing future project opportunities while collaborating closely with internal operations and estimating teams. Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Sales Identify and pursue commercial roofing repair, maintenance, and service opportunities. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of service work to meet revenue goals. Develop long-term customer relationships that generate repeat business and referrals. Promote preventative maintenance programs and demonstrate their value to clients. Customer Relationship Management Respond quickly to customer inquiries, leak calls, and emergency service requests. Conduct roof inspections and accurately identify roofing issues and repair needs. Communicate findings, recommendations, and solutions clearly to customers. Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales and service process. Proposal Development Develop practical and cost-effective repair and maintenance solutions. Prepare and present accurate, timely, and professional proposals. Clearly communicate scope, pricing, timelines, and customer expectations. Follow up consistently to convert opportunities into approved work. Project Coordination Collaborate with estimating, operations, and service teams to ensure successful project execution. Facilitate smooth handoffs between sales and operations. Serve as a liaison between customers and internal teams throughout project completion. Support project management efforts including change orders, billing coordination, and closeout activities. CRM & Administrative Responsibilities Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in HubSpot CRM. Track opportunities, proposals, customer interactions, and sales activities. Manage follow-ups and maintain strong pipeline discipline. Ensure all customer documentation and service agreements are properly maintained. Industry Knowledge & Continuous Improvement Stay informed on commercial roofing systems, repair methods, materials, and best practices. Continuously improve technical knowledge and sales effectiveness. Apply industry expertise to provide customers with effective roofing solutions. QualificationsRequired Qualifications Previous experience in sales, account management, business development, or commercial roofing sales. Strong communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and follow-up skills. Proficiency with CRM systems (HubSpot experience preferred). Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Preferred Qualifications Experience in commercial roofing, construction, or building services. Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs and service contracts. Familiarity with estimating software such as EDGE. Experience working with operations and field service teams.
